I'm having sign in problems.

If you're having difficulty logging in, first make sure that you are using the correct username and password that you set upon signup. Your username is your email address.

Both the "username" and "password" fields are case sensitive. Be sure that your CAPS LOCK is set to "off" when setting up your sign in data. However, if you entered your username in sign in.

Also, make sure that you don't have any firewall or browser restrictions set on your computer, and that you are running the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

I forgot my password.

If you've forgotten your password, please enter your email address on the Password Reset page. Enter the email address you used when creating your account and click "Submit", and we'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.


How do I change my username or password?

Once you sign in, you'll see a link at the top right that says "My Account". Click this link, and then click the button that says "Make Changes", which will allow you to update your account details.


How do I extend my membership?

To extend your membership, follow the "Extend Membership" link in your account admin area. This link is also provided in your purchase receipt.


How do I cancel my membership to prevent future charges?

To cancel your membership, please contact our support department and include your email address and order number (if you have it). Your membership will remain active until expiration but no future billings will occur. Sorry, but we do not offer prorated refunds.


Why does the owner name for some email addresses come back as "unlisted"?

While Email Finder contains information on hundreds of millions of U.S. email addresses, it is inevitable that some owner details will be "unlisted". This may be caused by ISP restrictions, a recent change to that account, or opt-out status within our database.

Even when an owner's name comes back as unlisted within our members area, you'll usually find results about the email's domain, originating Internet service provider, IP location, and more.


I found inaccurate results, what should I do?

We are 100% committed to keeping our records up-to-date and accurate. If you find something that isn't correct, please let us know through our contact form. Please identify the exact record.


Does this service cover international email addresses?

Email Finder shows details about domains, Internet service providers, IP addresses and locations for valid email addresses worldwide. People search information - including names, addresses, and household members - is restricted to U.S. adults only.
