Opt Out Terms
We take your privacy very seriously. If you would like to remove your name and address from appearing in the results of EmailFinder.com searches, please complete and submit the form on our Opt-Out request page. EmailFinder.com will use its best faith efforts to comply with properly completed Opt-Out requests. By submitting an Opt-Out request and as a condition of EmailFinder.com implementing a request, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Opt-Out requests apply only to the display of the name and address associated with an email address in search results displayed on EmailFinder.com. EmailFinder.com may still publish details like the IP address or geo-location associated with a domain which is not information specific to you. You must be 18 years of age or older to submit an Opt-Out Request. Opt-Out requests for persons under 18 years of age must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian and are subject to verification.
Opt-Out applies only to emails in our database. To remove records from our people search database (contact information and public records), go here.
For an Opt-Out request to be accepted you must be the owner or person associated with the email address. EmailFinder.com may request proof of ownership and/or confirmation that you are the person claiming to be the owner of an email. Opt-Out requests are not necessarily automatically processed. They are subject to manual approval and verification. Incomplete Opt-Out request submissions will not be processed. Not responding to a request from EmailFinder.com for additional information or confirmation within 30 days of the request will render the Opt-Out request void. EmailFinder.com reserves the right to refuse any Opt-Out request.
Opting-Out does not remove your name and address from data sources we do not control such as public records, or lists maintained by marketing companies. It only applies to the blocking of your name and personal details from appearing in search results on EmailFinder.com.
Opt-Out requests are provided as-is with no warranty of any kind. EmailFinder.com is not responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including, without limitation, attorney's fees) resulting from EmailFinder.com accepting, implementing or rejecting an Opt-Out request.
The opt-out term is for 5 years. We reserve the right to extend the term at our discretion.
EmailFinder.com reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the Opt-Out feature if we suspect our system has been subject to manipulation or abuse by an automated system or "bot", or any other means of tampering. If we do suspend the feature we will post a notice on our Opt-Out request page. You can check your current opt-out status any time by contacting our support department, or running a search on the EmailFinder.com website.
Personal Information collected for the purposes of processing Opt-Out requests, including your IP address, name, email address, etc., is used for EmailFinder.com internal purposes only.
